Job Position: Production Coordinator

Job Summary:

The production coordinator acts as a liaison between development, marketing, and sales teams to streamline communication and ensure that the product meets both market needs and company objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Ensure the proper planning, implementation, and controlling of the product design & development, capacity, process, facility layout, and production technology & resources of the production department;

● Facilitate and realize the proper implementation of production standards and policies;

● Create and enhance products that fill a niche in the market and allow their clients to remain competitive;

● Facilitate and realize the proper implementation of production standards and policies;

● Ensure proper implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and Policies;

● Take part in all safety awareness programs and advise safety supervisors to keep;

● Facilitate and approve personnel requirement and plans production-related material requirement of the department;

● Lead and direct the product development activities including formulation, process operations, packaging and quality control;

● Support the manufacturing process of new product development through laboratory and pilot experimentation;

● Monitor the market trends to develop plans that will increase sales, establish deadlines, and ensure the product development teams are on schedule;

● Identify better opportunities for efficient product development and applications of the new process with the existing portfolio;

● Work closely with the Sales and Manufacturing team to improve product development and client relationships;

● Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, market gaps, and potential product opportunities.

● Other product development tasks as assigned;

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or MA in Chemical engineering.

• Excellent understanding of production process and new product development

Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in production, Technology, Research & Development processing or Manufacturing role
