We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and service, driving operational efficiency, maintaining consistent profitability, and leading a dynamic team. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bars, banquet services, and other food and beverage outlets;
- Monitor and maintain service standards, ensuring all guests receive an exceptional dining experience;
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, including waitstaff, bartenders, chefs, and other kitchen staff;
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for development to improve individual and team performance;
- Foster a positive working environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and excellent service delivery;
- Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to develop and update menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and trends;
- Monitor food safety standards, including food storage, preparation, and handling procedures, to ensure compliance with health regulations;
- Track and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost reduction and opportunities for increasing revenue;
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience by monitoring guest feedback and responding promptly to any concerns or complaints;
- Create a welcoming atmosphere in all food and beverage areas, ensuring staff provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service;
- Stay up to date with industry trends, guest preferences, and new dining concepts to continuously improve the guest experience;
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies while minimizing waste;
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of quality products at competitive prices;
- Negotiate with vendors for the best pricing, discounts, and terms for food and beverage products;
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, labor laws, and health codes;
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements
Academic qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Years of experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in food and beverage management, ideally in a similar establishment (hotel, restaurant, resort, etc.);
- Proven track record in budget management, cost control, and achieving financial targets.
Additional Skill
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff;
