On behalf of our client, we are hiring a Druggist who will be in charge to plan, monitor, review or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs. Reviewing prescriptions from health care workers to ensure accuracy and providing pharmaceutical expertise to customers on the safe use of medications
Duties and Responsibilities
- Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians;
- Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects;
- Manage the inventory level of each category of medicine, and maintain adequate lead-time quantity;
- Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice;
- Ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, and condition of the drugs received from vendors;
- Provide inventory data for slow-moving, dead stock and obsolete for management decisions;
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, disposing of waste and sharps appropriately;
- Receiving and issuing drugs using standard vouchers and controlling using standard inventory control materials;
- Keep the warehouse activity recording book updated and ensure all outgoing and incoming receipts are recorded;
- Update computerized store management system with details of material received and issued;
- Ensure that the store is always maintained up to date in all respects in a presentable condition;
- Store items/equipment in an orderly manner to ensure easy accessibility and safety;
- Facilitate in loading and unloading trucks for prompt delivery and ensure proper amount and requested items are loaded;
- Prepare all required and appropriate reports periodically to be submitted to various government authorities;
- Other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
