Job Summary:

The HR & Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the organization. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, as well as managing office operations and supporting day-to-day administrative tasks. The role will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.  

Duties and Responsibilities


Human Resources Management:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards;
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, on boarding, performance management and compliance of employees;
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts to ensure a positive working environment;
  • Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and assist in employee development programs;
  • Administer employee benefits programs  like health insurance, retirement plans, registration and de-registration activities;
  • Oversee compensation and payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements;
  • Monitor employee attendance and leave management, ensuring proper records are kept.

Administration & Operations:

  • Manage office operations including supply management, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep;
  • Oversee the organization of meetings, events, and employee training sessions;
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for administrative support;
  • Ensure office space is functional and conducive to a productive work environment;
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for office supplies, utilities, and other services;
  • Manage administrative staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluation.

Compliance & Legal:

  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to employment, health, and safety;
  • Monitor changes in labor laws and recommend adjustments to company policies as necessary;
  • Assist in audits and reporting related to HR and administrative processes.

General Management:

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and strategic goals;
  • Support senior management in organizational planning, change management, and employee engagement initiatives;
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on HR and administrative performance metrics.

Key Competency 

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations;
  • Proven ability to manage administrative processes and office operations;
  • Excellent communication, conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively;
  • Proficient in HR and Payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Proved experience in coordinating & managing multidisciplinary employees;
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or related fields

Experience:

  • 8+ Years of proven work experience and of which 5 years of experience in a managerial position is mandatory.
