On behalf of our client, SARIA Consultancy, Recruiter in Ethiopia, is hiring a dynamic and detail-oriented Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring they align with our organizational goals, industry standards, and legal requirements. You will work closely with leadership to design competitive compensation packages, manage employee benefits programs, and ensure equity and fairness across all levels of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the top management to design incentive and reward programs to drive employee performance and retention;
- Develop, implement, and monitor compensation structures and pay scales across all job levels;
- Conduct salary bench marking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation is place;
- Manage the annual compensation review cycle, including salary increases, bonuses, incentives and other compensation-related decisions;
- Oversee the company’s benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off and holidays, provident fund, wellness initiatives and other compensations;
- Partner with external vendors to negotiate and administer benefits, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal employee engagement;
- Communicate benefits programs to employees and address any inquiries or concerns;
- Ensure compliance with tax laws related to compensation and benefits;
- Prepare and maintain compensation and benefits reports for management, ensuring data accuracy and compliance;
- Manage and ensure proper documentation for financial audits and internal reviews;
- Provide clear and consistent communication to employees regarding compensation and benefits policies, ensuring understanding and transparency;
- Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on compensation and benefits topics;
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and program eligibility;
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to provide insights and recommendations for improvements;
- Monitor trends in compensation and benefits, identifying areas for improvement or adjustment;
- Prepare and present regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics to leadership.
Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management or a similar HR role.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience working with compensation surveys and benefits administration;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and make data-driven decisions;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resource Management Systems;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
