Job Summary:

Our client, engaged in a Technology Industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive work environment and managing employee relations issues with professionalism, empathy, and expertise. You will be responsible for creating strategies that support employee engagement, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and collaborative work environment;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations concerns and provide advice on handling sensitive situations;
  • Drive the Company’s way of working, including mission, vision, and values through employee sensitization sessions;
  • Formulate the employee consultative forum in conjunction with the location HR lead including terms of reference;
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes;
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, workplace incidents, and grievances;
  • Collaborate with HR and management to create policies that promote a healthy work culture and mitigate risk;
  • Provide training and guidance to managers and staff on best practices for employee relations, conflict resolution, and communication;
  • Ensure company policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal labor laws;
  • Analyze employee feedback, survey data, and exit interviews to identify trends and improve employee engagement;
  • Handle disciplinary actions and performance issues in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • Other Employee Related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Additional qualification

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy;
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and experience managing difficult conversations;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience: Minimum of 6+ years experience in a comparable role
