Job Summary:

As an Assistant Training and Development Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of training programs across the organization. You will assist in the planning, development, and execution of training initiatives designed to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organizing training sessions, workshops, and seminars, including booking venues, arranging schedules, and notifying participants;
  • Maintaining training records, tracking attendance, and ensuring all materials are organized and available;
  • Assisting with the preparation of training resources, such as presentations, handouts, and online learning content;
  • Helping distribute training feedback surveys to participants to gauge training effectiveness;
  • Assisting in the analysis of feedback to evaluate the success of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement;
  • Assisting in compiling training reports, tracking progress, and maintaining key performance metrics;
  • Assisting with the identification of skill gaps and training needs within the organization through surveys, assessments, or performance reviews;
  • Keeping up-to-date records of employees’ training progress and certifications, ensuring all required training is completed on time;
  • Sending out reminders, notices, and updates to employees regarding training schedules, deadlines, and materials;
  • Handling correspondence, phone calls, and emails related to training inquiries and administrative support;
  • Performs other tasks given by the Manager as required. 

Skills & Abilities

  • A passion for learning and development with a keen interest in training and education;
  • Previous experience in an administrative role in a training environment is an advantage;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office is desirable;
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Academic Qualification:

  • BA Degree of Management, Business Administration,  Information Technology or related business fields;

Years of experience: a minimum of 6 months work/ internship experience is an added value
