Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and motivated Electrical Engineering Technical Manager to lead and manage our electrical engineering team. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable industry standards and regulations.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities;
  • Ensure the team works cohesively, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve team and company objectives;
  • Assign tasks and manage resource allocation for electrical engineering projects;
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, track milestones, and report on progress to senior management;
  • Identify potential risks or obstacles in project timelines and recommend solutions to mitigate delays or disruptions;
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems, components, and circuits for new products and upgrades;
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials, components, and technologies to meet performance, cost, and regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations in all electrical engineering activities;
  • Perform in-depth technical analysis and reviews of designs, prototypes, and systems to ensure feasibility and functionality;
  • Oversee the testing and validation of electrical systems and components to ensure they meet operational requirements and specifications;
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous product and process improvement;
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and test plans, to support project implementation and future reference;
  • Ensure proper documentation of all engineering processes, designs, and system configurations;
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers to ensure high-quality components and services are delivered on time and within budget;
  • Assist with the resolution of customer inquiries and technical support issues, providing expertise when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering principles, including power systems, circuits, electronics, and control systems;
  • Proven ability to lead motivate a team of engineers for high-performance culture;
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines;
  • Experience with industry standards and regulatory compliance;
  • Proficiency in engineering software like AutoCAD, MATLAB, PSpice, ..etc.);
  • FAdaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
