Job Summary:

On behalf of our client working in an import-export sector, we are looking for an experienced Desk Support Executive. The Desk Support Executive will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to employees, ensuring that IT-related issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. This role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software problems, maintaining systems, and ensuring the smooth running of IT services across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer/client experience by providing immediate and precise support for all technical issues.
  • Install applications in the production environment, troubleshoot issues proficiently, ensure data backups, and perform necessary system upgrades.
  • Offer comprehensive support to end users throughout the organization, demonstrating proficiency in resolving hardware issues.
  • Ensure prompt and responsive handling of queries, fostering a user-centric experience that exceeds customers' expectations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and make informed decisions on the software and hardware configurations which is necessary for effective implementation.
  • Efficiently monitor and maintain the LAN or WAN infrastructure within the office environment and resolve TCP/IP networking issues.
  • Ensure the functionality of users' computers and laptops, minimize downtime, and proactively monitor systems to maintain smooth operations.
  • Proficiently manage and resolve all networking issues, ensuring swift troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Effectively maintain and establish a robust document management system to safeguard and recover data.
  • Collaborate in the development of technical documentation and manuals, leveraging expertise to ensure accurate and comprehensive guides for users and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor


Requirements

Academic qualification 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or related fields

Additional qualifications 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
  • Experienced in operating systems, hardware and software configuration and/ setup. 
  • Proven experience in different platforms, Windows and Linux.
  • Ability to keep organized and manage multiple requests at a time.

Years of experience: 3+ years of work experience in a similar role
