Job Position: Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

The position holder is responsible for rehabilitating physical problems caused by illness, injury, disability or ageing through treatment which includes planning treatments, reviewing recovery and conducting therapeutic exercises with patients.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet different patients and develop treatment plans based on medical diagnoses and prescriptions;
• Evaluating the medical history, movement and functional abilities of new patients;
• Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients;
• Monitoring the improvement of the patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed; 
• Giving patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities;
• Closely coordinate and work with the health care professionals and general practitioners;  
• Communicate with the families and caregivers of patients in their treatment programmers;
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports;
• Stay up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques; 
• Guide, supervise and facilitate training for junior physiotherapists;
• Giving patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities;
• Initiate and participate in evidence-based projects to improve the quality of patient care;
• Perform assessments on patients to analyze their issues;
• Complying with government physiotherapy regulations;
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Academic qualification 

• Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and related fields.

Additional qualifications 

• Good understanding of MS Office, including word, Excel and power point;
• Efficiency in English, both writing and speaking; 
• Capability to work alone and in a team to perform tasks in collaboration;
• Good time management and organizational skills;
• Self-motivated and excellent customer management skills; 
• Excellent interpersonal and interpersonal skills; 
• Preferably having a previous experience in the healthcare industry.

Years of experience: Minimum of 3+ years of proven work experience
