The business development manager is responsible for generating B2B new business opportunities, leverage on networks, and ensuring the closure of business opportunities in line with the Company Experiences business strategy and sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the process of business development within the company to promote its longevity;
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems;
- Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs;
- Create more promotion ideas for the sales volume and relationship with existing and new clients;
- Conduct training and mentorship to other staff and offer them technical skills to improve sales;
- Work on new business generation by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant information;
- Build strong relationships with the existing portfolio and exceed weekly and monthly revenue targets;
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies;
- Attend meetings, workshops, trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to attract existing and new clients;
- Identify opportunities for new business development by following up on leads and conducting research on target clients;
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, forecasting, and maintaining short- and long-term business development plans;
- Help the marketing members develop advertising and promotion programs;
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills;
- Performs other tasks given by the Manager as required.
Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- BA Degree in business, marketing, or related fields;
- Master’s Degree is preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of BPO operations, Services Space, and BPO/ITES/BTO industry
- In-depth understanding of the business landscape in respective markets
- Well-established industry networks at senior management levels.
- Ability to design and position business solutions on the basis of identified business needs
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding;
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities;
- Strong time management, goal-oriented and organizational skills;
Years of experience: 6+ years of experience in the Banking or Insurance Sector.
