As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, drugstores, and other healthcare providers. You will
build strong relationships with clients, identify new sales opportunities, and provide product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell the company’s range of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies (retail and hospital-based) within your assigned territory;
- Conduct regular sales visits to existing and potential clients to present products, deliver samples, and negotiate sales agreements;
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key pharmacy stakeholders including pharmacists, pharmacy managers, purchasing officers, and healthcare professionals;
- Provide consistent support and follow-up to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty;
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities;
- Provide timely feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding customer preferences and product performance;
- Conduct informative product presentations and training sessions for pharmacy staff to ensure they understand product benefits, usage, and positioning;
- Act as a knowledgeable resource on the company’s product portfolio, including therapeutic benefits, administration, and storage;
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets;
- Process and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate fulfillment;
- Assist in resolving customer issues or complaints quickly and efficiently, coordinating with internal departments when necessary;
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, sales performance, customer interactions, and territory progress using CRM software or sales reporting tools;
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales results, client visits, market trends, and competitor activity;
- Work closely with marketing, logistics, and medical affairs teams to align sales efforts with company campaigns and product launches;
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and conferences as required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or related field;
Experience:
- 2+ years of proven experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
