Job Summary:

we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and developing effective sales strategies. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, leading and coaching a high-performing team, and developing long-term client relationships. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, align with business goals, and expand market share;
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve both individual and team sales targets.;
  • Provide regular training, performance feedback, and guidance to ensure professional development and high performance;
  • Set sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met or exceeded;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects. Act as the main point of contact for high-profile accounts and ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities, areas for improvement, and potential threats to sales performance;
  • Oversee the identification and qualification of new leads and business opportunities. Ensure that the sales pipeline is consistently filled with qualified prospects;
  • Lead high-level sales presentations, negotiations, and contracts with clients to close deals successfully and ensure mutually beneficial agreements;
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and company offerings, as well as smooth customer on boarding and ongoing support;
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions to senior management;
  • Track sales metrics, revenue performance, and other key data points to measure success;
  • Manage the sales department budget, including expenses for travel, marketing materials, and other resources required to achieve sales objectives;
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process to ensure it is efficient and effective, optimizing conversion rates and reducing sales cycle times.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 

Years of experience:

  • 5+ proven experience in sales management, preferably within the chemical industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in managing and leading a sales team, as well as developing sales strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data;
