Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Social Media & Content Strategy Lead who will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our end-to-end social media and content strategy. The position holder will manage a talented team of content creators and social media specialists while working closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Product, PR, and Customer Experience. You will be the guardian of our digital presence, ensuring our content not only performs but also tells a compelling story that aligns with business goals and brand identity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the global social media and content strategy across all key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, etc.);
  • Lead the content planning calendar in alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments;
  • Champion a data-driven approach to content development and social engagement, optimizing for reach, engagement, conversion, and brand equity;
  • Act as a thought leader in digital storytelling, experimenting with new formats and trends;
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media managers, content producers, copywriters, and external creative partners;
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability;
  • Own KPIs related to audience growth, engagement rates, brand sentiment, and content ROI;
  • Regularly report on performance insights and competitor bench marking, using analytics tools like Google Analytics;
  • Work closely with paid media teams to ensure organic and paid strategies are integrated;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support recruitment marketing, employer branding, and internal communications where applicable
  • Manage other related activities as required and assigned.

Requirements

Academic qualification 

  • BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, marketing management or related fields

Additional qualifications 

  • Proven track record of delivering results through storytelling, social campaigns, and brand content;
  • Strong leadership experience and comfortable managing both people and process;
  • Deep understanding of social platform algorithms, audience behaviors, and trends;
  • Excellent copy writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for brand voice;
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment;
  • Proficiency in content tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CMS systems, and analytics dashboards

Years of experience: 

  • 6+ years of experience in social media and content strategy, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth environment
