Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead and shape the strategic direction of our marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, growth, and customer engagement in the highly competitive FMCG sector. The Position holder will oversee market research, product positioning, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing efforts, by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and impactful marketing execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for our portfolio of products, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends;
  • Lead the positioning, development, and growth of our brands by creating compelling brand stories and ensuring consistent messaging across all touch points;
  • Plan, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and in-store promotions, ensuring campaigns resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results;
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer needs, preferences, and behavior; 
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement;
  • Oversee the development and execution of new product launches, ensuring successful market entry and positioning;
  • Monitor product performance and drive product life cycle management to optimize profitability;
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO, SEM, and social media strategy;
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize digital campaigns and enhance customer engagement;
  • Work closely with sales, product development, supply chain, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business goals, product availability, and customer needs;
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to high-impact campaigns;
  • Track campaign performance and ROI, optimizing marketing spend to achieve maximum impact;
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to drive high performance and professional growth.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, brand performance, and consumer trends to drive strategic decision-making and marketing optimizations.

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Years of experience: 

  • 7+ years of experience in similar roles within the FMCG sector, with a strong track record of successful campaign execution and brand growth

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the FMCG landscape;
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies;
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics and tools;
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
