Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Consolidation Officer to support the preparation of consolidated financial reports for the organization. The role ensures accurate alignment of financial data across business units, compliance with reporting standards, and timely delivery of consolidated statements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and consolidate financial data from multiple branches, subsidiaries, or business units;
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards;
  • Review inter company transactions and reconcile balances to ensure accuracy before consolidation;
  • Monitor compliance with financial reporting requirements, accounting policies, and internal guidelines;
  • Support variance analysis between budgets, forecasts, and actual performance;
  • Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure timely submission of financial reports and schedules;
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support internal and external audit processes;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of consolidation adjustments and supporting schedules;
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of consolidation activities;
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams regarding consolidation procedures and standards;
  • Stay updated with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices related to payments and disbursements;

Requirements

Academic qualification 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Additional qualifications  

  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles;
  • Experience working with multi-entity organizations is a strong advantage;
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Years of experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or general accounting.
