Job Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Content Marketing Officer to join our team. The role is responsible for supports content strategists by executing marketing plans, creating and curating engaging content for various platforms, conducting market research, analyzing campaign performance, and optimizing content for search engines. Key responsibilities include managing social media, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinating with other departments, assisting with event promotion, and maintaining databases to contribute to brand awareness and business goals

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and proofread content for blogs, websites, social media, newsletters, and other platforms.
  • Support in managing the company’s social media presence, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform content creation.
  • Coordinate with designers, writers, and other team members to develop multimedia content.
  • Support events, product launches, and promotional campaigns with content needs.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and company objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics to gather insights. 
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities. 
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and other internal teams to align marketing efforts. 
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts, including creating posts and responding to comments. 

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (CMS).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Creative thinking with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Experience: Experience 1+ years in content marketing, digital marketing, or related roles.
