We are seeking a proactive and organized Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our residential property portfolio. The successful candidate will assist in managing residential properties, ensuring efficient operations, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with company standards and regulations. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with strong communication and coordination skills, eager to develop their career in property and facility management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Property Manager in the daily operation of residential buildings or housing complexes;
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, maintenance requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner;
- Coordinate with maintenance, cleaning, and security teams to ensure properties are safe, clean, and fully functional;
- Monitor building systems (HVAC, elevators, security) and report malfunctions or irregularities;
- Assist in managing lease agreements, rent collection, renewals, and tenant move-in/move-out processes;
- Maintain accurate tenant records, occupancy reports, and property documentation;
- Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify maintenance or safety issues;
- Monitor service providers and contractors performing repairs or maintenance work;
- Support the preparation of monthly property performance and maintenance reports;
- Help organize community engagement activities and promote good tenant relations;
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the property and maintain brand standards;
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations, safety standards, and property policies.
Requirements
Academic qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Addition Skill
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset;
- Good knowledge of lease administration, rent collection, and residential property regulations;
- Ability to multitask and handle tenant issues diplomatically and efficiently;
- High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented and well-organized
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in residential property or facility management
