We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Compliance & Reporting Officer to ensure that the organization’s financial practices comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and professional standards. The role also supports the preparation of periodic financial and compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate is disciplined, well-organized, and skilled in interpreting policies, monitoring compliance, and preparing high-quality reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with financial, regulatory, and operational policies across the organization;
- Prepare accurate and timely financial, compliance, and regulatory reports as required by management and authorities;
- Review internal processes and identify gaps, risks, and areas of noncompliance;
- Support the implementation of compliance frameworks, internal controls, and reporting standards;
- Conduct periodic compliance checks and maintain documented evidence of compliance activities;
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, and other reporting obligations;
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and policy requirements;
- Maintain updated knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, tax rules, and industry standards;
- Collaborate to the creation of sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them;
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required information and documentation;
- Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations on compliance issues and reporting trends for management;
- Train and support junior staff with operational financial operations;
- Perform other necessary tasks related to the role and requested by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Academic qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Additional qualifications
- Good understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and reporting frameworks;
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills;
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently;
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting systems;
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Years of experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in compliance, financial reporting, audit, or related roles.
