Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and strategic Finance and Administration Manager to lead our financial operations and administrative functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization’s financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance with all statutory requirements.The Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, accounting, cash flow management, and reporting, while also managing critical administrative activities such as procurement, HR coordination, office management, and compliance processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the organization’s financial and administrative strategies, policies, and procedures;
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Monitor and control expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and optimal resource utilization;
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and international standards;
  • Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns, including VAT, income tax, and other regulatory requirements;
  • Manage the company’s cash flow, banking relationships, and oversee payment processing, collections, and management of accounts receivable/payable;
  • Oversee administrative functions, including procurement, contract management, rental and lease activities, office maintenance, logistics, and records management;
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employee contracts, and labor regulations and ensure efficient office support services;
  • Work closely with HR to manage, payroll, benefits administration, and employee record-keeping;
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes to minimize staff turnover;
  • Lead and mentor finance and administrative staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement;
  • Continuously assess and improve internal processes and controls to mitigate financial and administration risks and ensure the integrity of financial data;
  • Lead and mentor a small team of finance and administrative professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and opportunities for career development;
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team, ensuring that all members are aligned with business objectives;
  • Assess knowledge gaps and initiate targeted training and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen team capabilities.

Job Requirement

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Master’s degree or professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is an advantage

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in a commercial organization industry, e.g., manufacturing, FMCG, retail sector is highly desirable.

Required skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and taxation;
  • Solid background in finance, including budgeting, reporting, and controlling;
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting/ERP software;
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
