Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to maintain and grow long-term relationships with our most strategically important clients. The successful candidate will serve as the lead point of contact for all key account matters, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and account expansion.This role requires a blend of strong relationship management, strategic planning, and commercial acumen to meet the evolving needs of our clients and align them with our business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies tailored to each client’s business goals, industry trends, and market position;
  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with clients to align on performance, future needs, and partnership growth;
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client structures, decision-making hierarchies, and procurement processes;
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, positioning the company as a strategic partner rather than just a vendor;
  • Serve as the client’s internal advocate, ensuring their voice is heard in service delivery and strategic planning;
  • Develop customized proposals and pricing strategies in collaboration with commercial, finance, and operations teams;
  • Drive the contract negotiation process and ensure timely renewals or expansions of service agreements;
  • Continuously analyze sales data, client usage, and market trends to identify new opportunities;
  • Monitor delivery timelines, KPIs, and SLAs, addressing service gaps proactively and ensuring a smooth client experience;
  • Lead issue resolution efforts for any client concerns, taking ownership and driving swift resolution;
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipelines, contract status, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools;
  • Provide regular performance reports to internal stakeholders with insights on client health, risks, and growth potential;
  • Contribute to company-wide sales and retention strategies by sharing best practices and market intelligence;
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams that impact key account operations and client experience.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Years of experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or client-facing roles;
  • Proven track record of managing large or high-value client accounts.

Additional skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities;
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset;
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills;
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite;
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients.
