we are seeking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering final products to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics operations, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, ensuring inventory control, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of logistics and supply chain operations, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution;
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery;
- Lead the logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations while maintaining high levels of service and quality;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain;
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels while avoiding overstocking or stock-outs;
- Analyze supply chain performance data and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all aspects of supply chain operations;
- Forecast demand and work with the procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials and goods;
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers to secure favorable terms;
- Monitor the performance of logistics and supply chain partners, tracking KPIs and implementing corrective actions where necessary;
- Manage logistics budget and ensure cost-effective operations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality;
- Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions, delays, or emergencies;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, production, finance) to ensure alignment with business objectives and seamless coordination across departments;
- Manage other logistics and supply chain functions as required.
Requirements
Qualification: Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Additional skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, transportation management, inventory control, and procurement.
- Experience with logistics software and tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in supply chain management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills;
Year of Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end supply chain operations
- Experience with international logistics and global supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and their impact on supply chain operations.
