Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Performance Management Manager to join our HR leadership team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring performance management frameworks that align individual and team contributions with organizational goals. The incumbent will oversee the full cycle of performance management, from setting performance standards and KPIs to facilitating reviews, providing coaching, and ensuring continuous improvement. By fostering a culture of accountability, feedback, and development, the Performance Management Manager will play a critical role in enhancing employee productivity, organizational effectiveness, and overall business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve performance management frameworks, policies, and tools that align with organizational strategy and culture;
  • Define clear KPIs, success metrics, and performance benchmarks tailored to different departments and roles;
  • Partner with leadership and managers to translate company objectives into departmental and individual goals;
  • Ensure goal-setting processes are transparent, measurable, and effectively communicated across the organization;
  • Establish systems to track and measure performance against agreed objectives and KPIs;
  • Conduct performance reviews, talent assessments, and calibration sessions to ensure fairness and consistency;
  • Analyze performance data to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities;
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to employees and managers;
  • Identify high-potential employees and recommend career development initiatives;
  • Develop and facilitate training sessions on goal-setting, feedback, appraisal systems, and performance coaching;
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to design programs that enhance skills and support career growth;
  • Support the integration of performance outcomes into compensation, rewards, and promotion decisions;
  • Recommend recognition programs that reinforce accountability and high performance;
  • Generate detailed performance reports for senior leadership to support decision-making;
  • Provide recommendations for process enhancements to strengthen performance management systems;
  • Benchmark against industry best practices to ensure the company’s processes remain competitive.
  • Foster a culture of performance excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement;
  • Act as a change agent by embedding performance-focused practices into daily operations and leadership behaviors.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field;
  • Professional certifications in HR, performance management, or coaching are an advantage.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of performance management systems, HRIS, and data analytics tools;
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders;
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in interpreting KPIs, performance trends, and workforce metrics;
  • Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and change management abilities;
  • Proven ability to design and implement performance management frameworks that drive organizational success.

Experience: 

  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in performance management, organizational development, or talent management roles.
