Job Position: Power BI and Database Developer

Duties and Responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking a very skilled Power BI and Database Developer to join our team on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or information systems and extensive experience in data preparation, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insightful business analytics.
• Design and implement data warehouses and data gateways to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.
• Manage and support ETL processes using the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
• Conduct data analysis and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.

Requirements: -

Academic Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Years of Experience: -

• 5+ years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.

Basic Requirements

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and other database environments, with the ability to query and manipulate data effectively.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security principles.
