- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives;
- Negotiate price and volume with customers in order to maximize returns to the business;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients;
- Seek out, analyses and develop new account promoting sales of the product portfolio in line with business growth strategies;
- Prepare technical presentations to explain our company's products quality to customers;
- Present periodical sales reports, forecasts, and market trend analyses by comparing similar industry;
- Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure customer needs are met;
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager and Business Manager to set-up annual Sales Budgets;
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets;
- Train the sales team members on the technical aspects of the company's products to enhance their capacity in understanding the company product;
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Required years of Experience:
- 7+ years of proven experience in sales management, preferably within the chemical industry.
Additional requirements:
- Strong knowledge of chemical products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in technical sales or product management.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment in the chemical industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales team.
