On behalf of our client, we are hiring a Senior Export Sales Officer who will be is responsible for driving international business growth by expanding market share, maintaining relationships with foreign clients, and managing the entire export process, from inquiry to final delivery. This senior-level role bridges sales strategy with operational logistics to meet company revenue targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and penetrate new international markets to increase sales revenue and to achieve monthly/annual export sales targets;
- Develop and implement strategic export plans for specific regions or product lines;
- Attend international exhibitions, trade shows, and business meetings to promote products;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and agents;
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and sales contracts to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Respond to customer complaints, inquiries, and technical issues promptly to provide solutions;
- Prepare and manage all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions;
- Ensure all transactions comply with international trade regulations, customs, and import laws of the destination country;
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery;
- Manage the supply chain, including warehousing, inventory, and, where applicable, processing of goods;
- Prepare periodic performance reports for management, highlighting key metrics, market trends, and sales activities;
- Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency;
- Other related task as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or other related fields.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
- Ability to work flexibly and perform effectively under pressure;
- Strong influencing skills with a positive and professional attitude;
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently;
- Good analytical and reporting skills;
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in Export Sales, Logistics or International Business
