Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Tender Officer who will be responsible for identifying the most advantageous bids in terms of cost, quality, and delivery time, with the aim of making a significant contribution to the company’s growth and success. The Senior Tender Officer must have a thorough understanding of project requirements and the procurement process, and will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of tenders, ensuring full compliance with client requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regularly monitor relevant online platforms and industry-specific sources to identify new tender opportunities;
  • Assess each tender opportunity for alignment with the company's capabilities and strategic goals, and verify the company's eligibility to participate;
  • Work on detailed project timelines for each tender, ensuring all tasks are completed and deadlines are met;
  • Prepare technical and financial tender documents as required and submit the approved document before the deadline;
  • Identify all the pre-qualifications and present them to the management for review and approval;
  • Monitor the preparation and submission of the tender document as per the rules and guidelines set by the company;
  • Ensure the content, formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance for the tender submission process;
  • Prepare tender review information in order to ensure methodology, pricing and margin contingency are adequately adhered to;
  • Ensures all relevant documentation for bid proposals is complete and accurate;
  • Creating a compelling proposal that meets the requirements while also standing out from the competition;
  • Identify risk and opportunity in the proposal pricing in order to mitigate inherent risk at the tender submission stage;
  • Ensure the efficiency of the tender process through planning, organizing, and implementing;
  • Coordinate with the respective department for document procurement in process of tenders;
  • Manage and monitor the overall tender process team to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organization;
  • Coordinating the activities of different sections of projects in both pre and post-contract stages;
  • Perform other duties assigned and delegated by the Human Resource Manager

Requirements

Academic qualification 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related Business fields

Additional qualifications 

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time;
  • Well-developed negotiation skills;
  • Self-motivated and hardworking;
  • Prior experience in working with contract administration;
  • Good understanding of the tender process;
  • Well-developed negotiation skills;
  • Proficiency in Office Computer applications.

Years of experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in similar assignments is advantageous
